Actually not as salty as sea salt, but salty enough. So fancy for clear grinders.
Perfect for grinders. Haven't noticed any rocks, if you don't count the salt rocks themselves. Despite common belief that salt is just salt, these are not nearly as salty as sea salt or standard table salt. I've been using sea salt for decades, and definitely can taste a difference. If you like strong salty salt, probably better off going with sea salt rocks. I do like the color and minerals of Himalayan salt as well as the milder taste, so I'll be keeping it on hand along with sea salt on backup. Good pricing, resealable packaging, quality and quantity for the buck $$. Looks so fancy in clear grinders.
